Morris Lures
OAHU, HAWAII — ACTIVE YEARS 2007 – PRESENT
Nick Morris has been making Morris Lures on Oʻahu since 2007 — hand-crafted resin trolling heads that have earned a genuine cult following and a reputation reaching well beyond Hawaii. He fishes only his own lures and releases a design only once he's satisfied it's perfected, and because Oʻahu's waters run rougher than Kona's, his heads are built to work in both rough and calm seas. His best-known shape is the legendary "100%er," alongside favorites like the Kraken and Marlin Magnet and his keel-weighted 9-inch jetted bullets.
Morris is also a popular YouTube creator under Reel Adventures Hawaii, where his lures get put through their paces on the water. We're more than fans at Luremonger — we have extremely close ties with Nick, fish off his boat, and you'll find the two of us (my brother Roy and me) featured in his YouTube videos.
We're proud to carry Morris Lures and proud to call Nick a friend — Nick Morris's hand-built, fish-proven Oʻahu heads, straight from the boat we fish.
Notable shapes: The "100%er," Kraken, Marlin Magnet, and keel-weighted 9" jetted bullets
Identification tips:
- "Morris Lures" / Nick Morris; resin heads, often keel-weighted for rough water
- The "100%er" is his signature; the Kraken and Marlin Magnet are favorites
- Released only when he's perfected them — consistent quality, limited quantities
