Pok'eye Lures

OAHU, HAWAII — ACTIVE YEARS 2000s – PRESENT

Pok'eye is the handmade lure line of Marc Wood, a contemporary Oʻahu maker. He learned the craft from a respected Oʻahu mentor — the same teacher who started Lon Tanigawa, now one of Honolulu's most admired makers — which roots Pok'eye in a real island lineage. Everything Wood makes is by hand, and he's built a sizable following sharing his creations and fishing adventures.

Public documentation beyond his own channels is limited, but Pok'eye has become a recognizable modern name in the Hawaiian-style scene.

As a museum and archive, we're honored to document Marc Wood and Pok'eye Lures, a contemporary voice in the Hawaiian tradition.
