Fishy Hedz

OAHU, HAWAII

Fishy Hedz is the lure line of Greg Low, who comes by the craft through family — he's a cousin of Leroy Low and learned lure making from him. That lineage shows in the work, and Greg signs his lures with a quiet personal mark: a flower crest set inside the resin eye, the detail to look for when identifying a Fishy Hedz lure.

As a museum and archive, we're glad to document Greg Low and Fishy Hedz — a maker who carries the Low family's lure-making craft forward.

Notable shapes: (To be confirmed)

Identification tips:

  • "Fishy Hedz" / Greg Low (Oʻahu); the signature tell is a flower crest inside the resin eye
  • Learned the craft from his cousin, Leroy Low (see that entry)
