John Lau Lures

Born in a wartime tunnel and now based in Kokopo, John Lau is a legendary marlin specialist whose hand-poured resin creations are globally acclaimed. His lures are handcrafted in Papua New Guinea and used by elite crews and coveted by many collectors.

John Lau's lures have numerous wins at the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournaments (HIBT) and his lures are not sold commercially anywhere, he selectively gifts his lures around the world. We are lucky to have gotten lures from him directly and personally use his infamous "Spitz" in our own spread.
